The Singing Bowl

videos - I was taken to this great Buddhism shop in Vancouver .. it had many buddhism related items .. peace, calmness reflected from every item on display .. and sadly it reflected from the items only and not the people who worked there, as they were very rude. But it's all good

The Singing Bowl sings when you (see the video) .. it actually vibrate and hence the sound. But in my case, it sang a special song .. a song of love .. a song of care .. a song of kindess .. a song of kisses .. a song that had hugs hidden in them .. it wouldn't have sung if it wasn't for .. well can't tell ya.

I was happy .. my heart was full of happiness and hence the bowl sang happy .. but even prettier than the sound coming out of the bowl is the sound of the person shooting the video.

Beautiful. Was it in Vancouver or was it at the huge Buddhist temple in Richmond? (Great place normally ~ and let me apologize for my fellow citizens who were rude!)

Rob - yes it does .. can't u hear?

Andrea - it was in vancouver ..

Deepa - a hollow sound and an echo type sound has always been used in rituals and such among many religions .. i don't know where does this practice originates from .. but see the vibration in the air actually affects our mind (vibrations)

LOL! My dog was next to me when I played this. She got all twitterpated. Started rolling on her back and asking for a belly rub and then nudged me with her nose when I hesitated... Clearly has an effect! :o)

Singing bowls are fun. I have one, too that I play with every now and then. I like how the sound spreads and fills a room.
