Street Performers
videos - I have always been able to take some time out, stop and enjoy the music of street performers. The term street performers is not just limited to street corners, but you can find them in subways, outside markets and so on.
Some of the street performers I see are actual music students practicing, some do it for money and some simply do it for the love of music. Music no matter where it is, should be appreciated. My hats off to the great street performers. Below are some videos I shot, enjoy!
This guy was amazing .. the song of music was ... was soothing .. he filled the subway and our hearts with his music.
You can't hear this one that clearly because of all the noise. The video was shot at Granville Market, Vancouver .. what a great place .. what great people.
This video was shot at Bloomingdale Center, Chicago. The piano is inside a shopping mall .. he's really good .. and the music he chose to play is awesome. Ofcourse this guy is paid to play the piano in this mall.

Thanks for reminding me how good street performers can be. I don't hear them too often but when I visit cities, they usually are quite enjoyable.

It is amazing how you are able to capture all this wonder with your recorder !
Some great stuff. I am planning to be in Chicago sometime soon. I probably would drop in at the mall where the pianist plays. Can you drop me a line to let me know where the mall is ?

Was the trumpeter using a sampler of some kind for his beats? Street music is great. It's a shame that you need to get a license to busk in some places though. So you've been travelling to VancouvER! I remember one night when I was about sixteen the police said they would arrest my friend and I unless we stopped playing. It was a crackdown on music. These people are very good though. I love music.
