Lady in Red

I went downtown last weekend, to get a hair trimm and saw this gentleman skating on a sitting/relaxing area on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. And then I saw this lady, in a very pretty vibrant dress. So I asked her if I can take a picture and the skate guy with jingles came running along and they agreed to take a picture. And then I also shot this video asking them what they were doing.

The Picture

The Video

Song of the Day - Regi Ismeros by Neo
This song is part of the soundtrack of the movie, Kontroll

Crazy! I wish we had friendly costumed baptists in our downtown. But we don't :(...

Cool song by the way. I went and watched the trailer for that movie. I didn't really understand it because it wasn't in english, but it looked pretty cool.

Dressing like that takes some kind of confidence! Did you win the Easter egg hunt for spotting 'em?

What's funny for me is that I've been to Hammond many times. Hmmmm, but I'm still unsure what they're doing here.
Wow, Nabeel, you've been busy and looks like I have a lot of catching up to do here.
Hugs babe.

Nabeel, always appreciate your video news-gathering endeavours to show me what's going on in Chicago and nice song of the day! The texture of the electronica reminds me a bit of the band Mono -you know, they had that song in Great Expectations. I recognize the site that's hosting it :)

But when they asked "where are you from" they wanted to know where you are REALLY from! My husband always gets annoyed when people ask him that question, but I just say suck it up and be straightforward. Your accent sounds British to me and I'm curious to know how long have you lived in Chicago.

Hilarious. In Texas, our local Baptists are too hardcore (conservative) to dress like that.
